Following the resounding success of the hardback, which was shortlisted for the 2023 Edward Stanford Travel Book of the Year Award, Alex Bescoby's The Last Overland will be published in paperback on July 6th. Alex's book has enjoyed plaudits from the likes of Dan Snow, "Bescoby weaves travel, adventure, history and the contemporary together like no one else" and Joanna Lumley, who championed TLO as "Fabulous...reckless, insanely ambitious and filled with sweat, tears and laughter." If you haven't yet checked out the accompanying four part documentary series or enjoyed Alex's experiences driving 21,000 kms behind the wheel of a vintage 1955 Land Rover, you can catch up on All4 and order the paperback here.
