Onwards and Upwards!! Amanda’s going on tour! In this brand-new two-hour show for winter 2025, Amanda Owen, bestselling author and star of TV’s Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door, shares heartwarming stories and humorous anecdotes about the everyday realities of her unique farming family life.
We’ll hear about the mammoth task of restoring a 200 year-old derelict and historic farmhouse at Anty John’s to create a family home for the future. Amanda will share the highs and lows of this epic endeavour involving the whole Owen family and their loyal team of builders. All undertaken whilst dealing with the day-to-day challenges, hard graft and unpredictable weather of the farming year at Ravenseat, as the Owens tend to their 700-strong flock and growing menagerie of farm animals.
Amanda will also share festive recollections and her wonderful photography of the real-life adventures of her nine children and their beloved pets and farmyard favourites, including Little Joe the Shetland pony, Chalky the dog and Coco and Chanel the sheep, to name just a few.
Following the success of her five bestselling Yorkshire Shepherdess books, Amanda has recently become a children’s author with her wonderful debut ‘Christmas Tales From The Farm’ launching in September 2025, signed copies of which will be available for purchase on the night.
Onwards and Upwards: Farming, Family and Fiascos is suitable for all the family, so be sure to bring your nearest and dearest. Tickets available now via the No Third Entertainments site.
Errol Reuben Fernandes x Ffern
This Autumn, Ffern celebrated floristry as an act of romance and storytelling in a campaign spotlighting a new wave of thoughtful florists. Horticulture expert, Errol Reuben Fernandes was invited to create an arrangement from the heart and in Ffern's accompanying film, Errol shared childhood memories of his mum judging family floristry competitions in their garden. Moments that deeply shaped his love of nature and continue to influence his work today. Set in a purpose-built studio, a beautiful mix of documentary and personal portrait, the campaign captures Errol’s bouquet as an emotive expression of autumnal romance.
