On Thursday September 29th, after four years of hard graft, including four months travelling 13,000 miles across 23 countries, Alex Bescoby's The Last Overland has finally hit UK bookstands and TV screens! Over 700 people crammed into the Royal Geographical Society last week to celebrate the endeavour, with Channel 4, publishers Michael O'Mara and international distributors eOne all present, as well as the multiple sponsors who helped fund the expedition in 2019, including headline sponsor Singapore Tourism Board. There's been a wonderful outpouring of love and support for the project and we're looking forward to seeing how the book and TV series are received by the public over the coming weeks. Alex's debut book is now on sale in all good bookstores and all four episodes of the documentary series are available on All4.
