Amanda Owen - Winter Walks - BBC Four

BBC Four recently invited viewers to accompany them on a gentle walk, as four familiar faces explored northern landscapes in this quiet and contemplative series. We were delighted when Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen was invited to contribute and to embark on a walk through Wensleydale and Raydale, not far from her home turf of Ravenseat, but an area she hadn't yet explored. The series launched on Monday November 29th with Amanda's half hour film, which received high praise from viewers and TV reviewers alike. "Owen was perfect company for this stress-busting 30-minute ramble...Her understated enthusiasm had an infectious quality," said Ed Power in The i. You can catch the whole series of Winter Walks, which also features Alastair Campbell, Kate Bottley and Nihal Arthanayake on BBCiPlayer

You can catch the whole series of Winter Walks, which also features Alastair Campbell, Kate Bottley and Nihal Arthanayake on BBCiPlayer.
